Approvals
One approval engine and one queue for tasks, requests, projects, and conversation actions.
One queue for every decision
The Approvals page lists items awaiting your decision from every source — task approvals, request approvals, project approvals, document approvals, and conversation approvals. Each item shows the approver chain, your step in it, the SLA state, and an append-only audit trail.
Decisions
Three decisions are available: Approve, Reject, and Request changes. Reject and Request changes require a written comment, optionally categorized (missing information, policy issue, budget issue, and more). An approver can also delegate their step to a colleague; the delegation is recorded on the chain.
Chains, levels, and quorum
An approval runs as a single approver, sequentially level by level, or in parallel. Within a level, either all approvers must approve or any one is enough. Approval status is computed on the server from the chain.

Every resubmission creates a new version; previous versions stay visible with their outcome and decision history.
- Restart from first level — the whole sequence runs again as a new version.
- Restart from rejected level — earlier approved levels stand; the rejected level onward reruns.
- Retain previous approved levels — only pending and rejected approvers review again.
Reusable flow templates
Administrators author approval flow templates in Settings → Workflow: draft, publish, or archive a flow; define its levels; assign each level to specific users, a department role, the department manager, or any eligible department approver; scope it to departments and request types; and set escalation hours. Published flows apply automatically to matching new requests or projects, or can be picked manually.
Approver privacy
Naming someone as an approver does not grant them access to the underlying task, request, or project. Approvers with restricted source access see the approval's own information, with the related item shown as "Restricted".
On mobile
Mobile supports approve, reject, request changes, delegate, resubmit, and bulk approve. Authoring approval flow templates and managing approvers on a live chain are web-only.
